For the past few seasons Jim Adams and Ken Kennedy have been providing members and visitors with a brief insight to fly patterns and methods which have been very useful on the Orkney lochs. Our "Cast of the month" articles have been very popular and we are pleased to say we will continue for the 2007 season.

Orkney Flies Gallery
When the OTFA first started its web site the Idea of a "virtual fly
box" was created and over the past six years our visitors made frequent
hits on throes pages, "Its time for a change" therefore, new this
year is a collection of Orkney Patterns which are all proven fish takers.
All the flies have featured in our reports and have been top of the list
for our competition anglers.
I apologies for not including the dressings for so many flies but with such
fine detail on the photographs this should not be a problem.
